Oliver Is a cockapoo that is acting out aggressively toward another dog in the house hold. He is very smart and willing as he showed in the first training session today. So far we are focusing on building a foundation with obedience commands. We worked on an extended sit today. The goal behind teaching a long sit stay is to teach impulse control which will in turn calm Oliver down, get him over some of his anxieties and teach him not to be so reactive. The other benefit of teaching obedience is to practice leadership. I believe Oliver will continue to do very well in training.
